• 80 students come from the surrounding community outside of HOHM: 61 are tuition-fee payers, 08 students come from poor family backgrounds and only paying for school supplies and Baliaka Books to attend class at SOHM, 11 students are children of HOHM staff members.

• The school staff consists of 9 teachers, 1 school supervisor, and 1 principal.

• In terms of materials for the children, we still have needs, especially for playground equipment and preschool classroom supplies. Nevertheless, this has not prevented us from starting and moving forward with enthusiasm.

• We remain in great need of books for our school library and classrooms, and we continue to pray and seek ways to fill this gap.

In Fall of 2025, we expanded our mission by launching the School of Hope (SOHM) — a Christ-centered educational initiative now serving not only our orphans but also children from nearby villages. The school welcomed 24 new students into our orphanage and opened enrollment to the broader community.

SOHM provides a full academic curriculum rooted in Christian values. Students are taught in Malagasy, French, and English. They benefit from an environment that nurtures academic excellence, Biblical truth, and moral leadership. Classrooms are vibrant spaces where futures are formed — guided by teachers who love Jesus and love children.
